Scolmore Group is one of the UK’s leading electrical accessories distributors.

The Group was outgrowing its headquarters. The business had experienced significant growth and needed more room for additional visitor and operational facilities. Scolmore was keen to ensure the building extension was as energy efficient as possible.

Abtec provided a building and lighting management system that kept energy use low. Lighting was only activated when people were present in a room. LED Light levels responded to ambient daylight levels, using DALI dimming over the KNX protocol, which delivered a 40% saving on equivalent energy use.
